Around the World: Gorgeous Villa K in the Netherlands

Dutch architectural firm ARCHITECTENCSK has designed this modern home called Villa K that floats on top off old dunes surrounded by a natural oak forest in Alkmaar, North Holland, The Netherlands. It strikingly curves around the landscape, though it appears to be a structured box at first sight. According to the architects, the challenge was to make a luxurious residence that would not undermine the beauty of nature, but would instead complement it.
