Homes that exist within nature typically stand out against the organic grain of the ecosystem, or they are small and plain structures that don’t make much noise visually. Well, with Robert Oshatz's Wilkinson Residence, it's both. Beautiful curves undulate on the outside and make a bold statement inside.
Located among hills and trees in Oregon, this home has a multitude of spaces, including a yoga room and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms all framed in wood and copper. Large exterior areas are also utilized so that the home's inhabitants can easily watch the forest happenings and get a little sunlight. The materials carry on from the interior to exterior, and the home itself is in sync with the landscape.
