Clayoquot Wilderness Resort in British Columbia, Canada
By Inthralld on Aug 31, 2012
The idea of sleeping in a tent is adventurous to some, but the whimsical and romantic idea of staying in a tent typically involves more than just a tent and a sleeping bag. Enter the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, where you will find that not only is the setting exquisite, but the accommodations definitely take you away.
Only open from mid-May until the very end of September, the resort is all about getaway excursions ranging from 3 to 7 days. It’s an exclusive place, with only a select 20 tents for guests– 12 of which are luxury bathroom tents and the 8 remaining are deluxe (original). The interiors of these spaces are uniquely vintage, complete with: thermostat controlled propane wood stoves, antique dressers/tea tables, opulent rugs, oil lamps, heirloom china and silver accessories, as well as an abundance of candles.
