The Invisible Shower from Duravit

By HomeCentrl on Mar 21, 2012
Bathroom designs can be challenging but when the room is smaller it adds a new dimension to the mix. Every bathroom needs to have a sink, a toilet and a shower or tub. However if the room is small a tub is generally not an option. That leaves a shower as the needed route for bathing yet even a corner unit takes up valuable space and with it's closed walls it makes the room seem even smaller.

Enter Duravit's invisible shower enclosure from the Open Space series

The shower unit due to it's transparent walls gives the appearance of more space within the room as shown in the top left photo. The perception of that added space is just as important as the actual space.

Having designed a unique folding system, the two outer walls can be folded in to actually create more floor space. The doors come in either a translucent or mirrored finish depending on your taste.

In either option a simple change and you have a transparent or mirrored corner. A simple design that works beautifully for smaller bathroom spaces. "OpenSpace is ideal for combining with the DuraPlan shower trays."
