Quick and Easy Flocked Christmas Tree

By Our Lake Life on Nov 29, 2012

Yes I’m on a Christmas decorating spree…

Flocked trees are hot right now, they’re so pretty a touch of fallen snow (even if it’s fake) adds another layer of detail to your Christmas decorations. I wanted to share this quick and easy touch I add to my Christmas tree to help it feel a little extra special. I love small details and this one is small in effort but big in style.

Not to mention that this projects is CHEAP and takes around 60 seconds to complete. Here is the tree all decorated before I flocked it.

The only thing you’ll need is synthetic snow flakes. I bought mine at Target for $1.99. Get the big bag I always end up using more than I’ll need. Snowflakes

Now here comes the hard part. Grab a handful an throw it into the tree. I like to start towards the top and work my way down. The flakes will fall through the tree and give a pretty fallen snow effect. Like so.
