Two Accent Walls?

Even though I really want to paint the study-o navy, I've been thinking that painting all of the walls the same dark color would turn it into a cave.
Instead, I'm exploring the idea of painting the wall with the widow, and the one against the door (which is only seen when you're in the room). That way, the room will appear to have a navy accent wall, the white desk will pop off the dark color, and the room will still stay bright. As for the other two walls? They will actually change to white, similar to the Pinterest pic below.
So lately, I've been seeking out accent wall photos for inspiration. Have you ever painted an accent wall in your home? What did you like? Dislike?
